These modules were designed to be used as signaling in land for pilots during landing manouvres.
The module measures 190×270 mm, and each point is made by a cluster of 7 LEDs of 5 mm each. The best results are obtained with oval LEDs which we have in yellow, red and green.
These characters are perfectly legible at a distant superior to 100 meters, and if we mount the high luminosity LEDs (1470 cd) they can be read even when solar light falls directly on them.
